Dynamics of the number of reviewed reports with materials of geological and economic assessments and estimates of mineral reserves by years

The primary objective of the geological and economic assessment is to identify investment-attractive geological sites for development and determine their commercial significance, as well as economic efficiency of their operation.
For the purposes of scientific, methodological and expert activities, the SCMR develops and implements regulatory and methodological frameworks for geological and economic assessment of mineral deposits, considering modern practice and international standards for the assessment of subsoil use objects.
Since 2016, at the request of subsoil users, the SCMR has been reviewing, analysing and auditing materials on geological and economic assessment of mineral reserves of subsoil areas prepared in accordance with the CRIRSCO family classification systems for solid minerals, the SPE Petroleum Resource Management System (PRMS) for oil and gas reserves, the IAEA Red Book classification for uranium ore reserves, and the UNFC for all minerals.
